Rabbi Ethan Prosnit from Temple Emanu-El in Westfield, NJ shared great news with Franciscan Charities today.
In a note he said, “We brought our 8th – 9th Grade Mitzvah Corps group to the Soup Kitchen this past year and it was an extremely impactful experience. Part of the Mitzvah Corps program was also creating a mini-foundation and sending the money we raised to one of the organizations we volunteered at. The Mitzvah Corps group decided to pick Franciscan Charities as the recipient of our fundraising and we will be sending a check for $1,230 to the Soup Kitchen.”
