Franciscan Enterprises, a ministry and sister-organization of Franciscan Charities, provides training and work opportunities for the chronically unemployed with the goal of workforce re-entry and long term job placement. We’d like to highlight the success story of Raamel Correa, who has made the transition from working with Franciscan Enterprises to employment at Maplecrest Ford Lincoln of Union.
How did this success story unfold?
Local auto dealership, Maplecrest Ford Lincoln of Union, created Maplecrest Moves Charities to provide needed transportation resources and logistics for non-profits in Northern New Jersey. Through this program, Maplecrest sent out a job description via email to all of the non-profits that work with Maplecrest Moves Charities to see if they had responsible clients they would recommend for a custodial job. Franciscan Charities responded immediately and recommended Raamel Correa, a hard-working individual in the Franciscan Enterprises Job Training Program. Raamel had been successfully working with Brother Paul through Franciscan Enterprises and had proven his high level of professionalism and job skills.
Maplecrest Ford Lincoln of Union interviewed and hired Raamel, who is now the Custodian and Maintenance Manager. He’s been praised for his job performance and dedication.
Congratulations to Raamel on his job! Thank you to Maplecrest Ford Lincoln of Union for their continued commitment to the local community!
