Many families need our help during the holiday season. Join us in providing warm coats and holiday toys to those in need by donating to our annual Toy and Coat Drives.
During our 2015 Toy Drive, we gave away over 1,000 toys to smiling children! Each child that attends our Toy Drive is able to “shop” for a toy of their choosing. Santa always makes a visit and cookies and hot chocolate are provided in abundance. The day is a favorite among our clients and brings much joy to everyone involved. Your monetary donation will help us provide a variety of toys for all ages. The Toy Drive will be held on Saturday, December 17th this year, but our volunteer elves are already hard at work.
Last year, Franciscan Charities provided over 800 coats and countless winter accessories to our clients on the day of our Coat Drive — and we continued to give winter-wear long afterwards through our clothing ministry. Many of our clients are homeless or live in situations without reliable heat during the winter months. Warm coats make a big difference in their lives. Your donation helps us provide coats for children and adults, as well as hats, scarves, and gloves. Our upcoming Coat Drive will be held on Saturday, January 7th, but we are already preparing for the big day to make sure we have a range of sizes from infant to 3XL adult.
