A generous grant from The Hyde and Watson Foundation allowed us to make much needed improvements at the soup kitchen, including a nicely paved walk up to the stairs, a beautiful slate-tread stairwell, and a prep room adjacent to the kitchen with a second service window. The new prep room will also be used by the church parishioners for their events thus allowing us to close off our entire kitchen area from outside use. The work was done by Ed, Ronnie, and the entire Franciscan Enterprises organization. They did a terrific job and everything looks fantastic!
